 Joshua Kade Porterfield is a Somerville artist & illustrator by way of a small little town in Arkansas. We crossed paths doing the awesome Somerville Holiday Flea at the Armory. Shout out: Somerville Flea! He received a BFA from Henderson State University and a Post-Bac certificate from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts here in Boston. Purveyor of Fine Oddities: his art is both humorous and fun, with lots of quirky sass. As stated in his bio, "the dark, fecund atmosphere of the American South is a major influence on his work."
